We encourage members to get involved in the plethora of opportunities offered at HOSA!

Note that EVERY FRIDAY, THERE IS A WEEKLY TRASH PICKUP AT CMA. Members leave their 5th period class 15 minutes early to accommodate for this.

Fundraising

Krispy Kreme Certificates
Sell student Krispy Kreme certificates of a dozen doughnuts; the certificates are redeemable at any Krispy Kreme location.

Valentines Week
Sell flowers and bears during lunch (plastic & wood flowers). Decorate a table and sell bears and plastic and wood flowers during lunch.

Pay to Participate Craft Tables
Students can pay to make friendship bracelets during lunch. Materials are provided.

Volunteering

Park Cleanup
Members would meet up at a local park or other public space and help in picking up trash.

Habitat for Humanity
Members over the age of 16, could sign up to volunteer in building housing for people who are facing housing instability.

Ronald McDonald House
Members of HOSA would volunteer as a group aid in the preparation of their family dinner program.
Engagement

Interview Workshops
We would ask teachers and staff to host mock interviews for HOSA members. This is for future preparation of interviews in our academic careers.

HOSA Competition Study Sessions
Afterschool, in person, and on zoom, members would come together to prepare for state and district competitions.
3
Buddy System
Seniors and Juniors would be partnered with a lowerclassman. We hope to give lowerclassmen the chance to learn from the upperclassmen.

District/Regional Leadership Conference
Competition begins at the District level, competing with other members within their district.

State Leadership Conference
The State Leadership Conference comes after districts. All HOSA members from NC compete from their previous standing.

International Leadership Conference
After State Leadership Conference. HOSA members from the US and International HOSA compete
